AI Progress Issues Statement in Response to House Report

Washington, D.C. — AI Progress applauds the House AI Task Force for their bipartisan work on this report. We want to thank Speaker Johnson, Leader JeOries and Reps. Obernolte and Lieu for their leadership.

Artificial intelligence holds tremendous potential to solve societal challenges, spark scientific discovery, and create new opportunities. Policies that support American AI innovation and existing copyright law are essential to unlocking the technology’s potential to boost economic growth, bolster national security, and secure our nation's global leadership in this transformative technology. We look forward to continuing to work with members of the House AI Task Force and others in Congress on this critical issue.
