AI Progress Commends the Administration’s AI Action Plan

AI Progress issued the following statement after the release of the Trump Administration’s AI Action Plan to ensure U.S. leadership in artificial intelligence.

“AI Progress welcomes the release of the Trump administration’s AI Action Plan and its commitment to securing U.S. competitiveness in AI development.

AI is a foundational technology with the power to drive scientific discovery, improve public services and unlock economic opportunity. Amid intensifying global competition for AI dominance, AI Progress believes U.S. policy must continue to foster technological innovation.

We commend the administration for recognizing that maintaining America’s competitive edge in AI development requires smart policy.”

AI Progress submitted comments to the Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation regarding the Action Plan in March 2025.
